Happy Holidays! Letter from our new CEO
As we celebrate this holiday season and end out this crazy and upside-down year, I am truly grateful for this chance to take what the Griddy founders (and my longtime friends), Greg Craig and Nick Bain, have built to unprecedented new heights. Not every day do you get the opportunity to lead a company that is truly disrupting an outdated industry.
I’m not big into New Year’s resolutions, but I do want to make three commitments to our members: 1) To always innovate 2) To always listen 3) To always shoot for the stars.
First, we are committed to bringing more value through tech innovations to our platform. We have identified ways to improve and speed up processes, as well as dedicate more resources to our engineering and development teams so that those features – the ones that have been promised – will finally come to be.
Which leads me into my second point: Not just a commitment to listening to our members, but also addressing your feedback. There were two main requests that we have heard loud and clear: 1) A way to combat potential price spikes in the summer 2) A way to reduce credit card processing charges. I don’t want to give away too much right now, but expect big announcements coming soon.
Lastly, we are in this for the long run. We are here to grow our salesforce with a new team so more people can benefit from wholesale energy; we are here to dive into new markets beyond Texas; we are here to make this industry a better, greener place that relies on the very best technology.
I’ve only been the CEO of Griddy for a short time, but I am delighted and encouraged by all of our members who understand the power of wholesale. Here’s to a happy and healthy holiday season, from my family to yours.
